The DeKalb Education Foundation is proud to be an organization participating in Give DeKalb County, coming up on Thursday, May 4th, 2017.

According to the official website, “Give DeKalb County is a 24-hour fundraising event to support nonprofit organizations that serve DeKalb County, IL. On May 4, donors can give back in two ways: online at GiveDeKalbCounty.org from midnight to midnight or in-person by check payment at the DeKalb County Community Foundation from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Give DeKalb County is designed to build community, encourage philanthropy, connect donors to nonprofits, and raise awareness about the nonprofit sector serving DeKalb County. A bonus pool of funds raised from Community Partners ensures that every donation makes a greater impact.”

So go to https://www.givedekalbcounty.org/ and look for the DeKalb Education Foundation’s profile. There you can find out all about the great work that your donations help teachers and students in DeKalb to do, and decide on a giving level that is right for you. Truly, every dollar raised is a great help, so we greatly encourage you to give whatever you can.

And even if you can’t give, please share Give DeKalb County’s Facebook page with your friends and family and help us get the word out. We love the support we get from our community, and we need it as much as ever to succeed with this project.

Help us continue our 30-year mission of encouraging partnership between the school district and the community and being a strong support system for our schools. Thank you so very much!
