Twenty-five percent of each year's fundraising total is invested in an endowment to build interest for continued and expanded funding. Seventy-five percent is allocated for current needs.

There are many ways you can contribute to the DeKalb Education Foundation: restricted gifts, unrestricted gifts, endowment funds, donation for specific projects, bequests and memorial donations.

Contributions are appreciated at any time of the year. Many businesses in the community will match employees' contributions to charitable organizations - check with your employer to see if your gift can be enhanced in this way. Many community members have supported the Foundation by including it in their wills or trusts.

All donations are tax deductible.
